

Donna M. English, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born February 7, 1940 in Chicago, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Adams) Greer. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, she studied Interior Design at Indiana University. She was a special needs teacher at Wayne High School for over 15 years and employed part-time with Easter Seals ARC. Donna enjoyed interior design, especially lighting, and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects to include painting, making clothes, and creating homemade cards for all occasions. She loved dancing, baking, photography, and traveling to places such as San Francisco, New York, Bermuda, and Washington D.C. A sociable and generous woman, she loved to help people and spend time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are her four children, Renee English of Fort Wayne, Marlon (Anita) English of Indianapolis, Ind., Kendra English of Indianapolis, Ind., and Laren (Erika Thompson-English) English, of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Topaz English (Ridley), Nicholas English, Morgan Gast, and Gawen Wells Jr., five great-grandchildren, Deyontri Butler, Fransaya English, Nasara English, Nicholas English Jr., and Knight English; one great great-grandchild, Deryan Butler; two sisters, Peggy Calloway and Phyllis Morgan, both of Fort Wayne; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great great-nieces, great great-nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Alice Kelly, Russell Clear, Charlie Greer, and Robert Greer. Per Donna’s wishes, there are no services scheduled at this time.
