Doris Ruby Hanna Tillman

Doris Ruby Hanna Tillman, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, March, 1, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., she was the youngest daughter of the late John and Hanna (Eastlund) Erickson. Doris retired from Duncan Electric after several years of service. Strong in her faith, she shared her faith with others through leading bible studies. Doris showed unconditional love to her children and to her pets. A sweet spirit, she was thankful, witty, and had the most beautiful blue eyes. She enjoyed painting, needlepoint, crafts, word searches, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and watching the Andy Griffith show. She is survived by her children, Susan (Steven) Henry of Fort Wayne, Dwaine (Terri) Tillman of Avon, Steve (Sue) Tillman of Pittsboro, and Barbara (Marvin) Caudill of Lafayette; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her children, Lonnie, Ronnie, and Debbie Tillman; and four siblings. Funeral Service will be 3pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2403 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Inurnment will be at a later date at Stanchfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Stanchfield, Minn.
