Dorothy O. Lamb, 94, passed away at Covington Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ft. Wayne on Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was born in Adams County to the late David and Fannie (Huser) Habegger on July 19, 1917. She was a member at Forest Park United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies Circle. She worked as a homemaker and later at L.S. Ayres. She loved flowers and enjoyed cooking, music and her family and friends. Her husband, John W. Lamb passed away in March of 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Jim) Brunson of Ft. Wayne; her grandsons, Joshua (Jaime) Brunson, Joseph (Michelle) Brunson both of Ft. Wayne and Jonathan (Anya) Brunson of the Dominican Republic; four great grandchildren; and her sister, Juanita Munson of Craigville.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012, with calling one hour prior, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne with Pastor Brenda Ginder officiating. Visitation will also be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to Forest Park United Methodist Church.
