Dorothy Wetzel

Dorothy Wetzel, 85, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Peter and Helen Schmitz. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She worked as a lunch lady for FWCS for 30 years prior to retirement. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, John Wetzel of Fort Wayne; children, Linda (Brian) Derbyshire of Lyman, SC, Julie (Don) France of Auburn, Kyle (Deborah) Wetzel of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Service is 1:00 pm, Friday, March 23, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling from 11:00 am until the service, Pastor Todd France officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
