

Jo is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Lewandowski and her husband Michael, and Dawn Parkison. She is also survived by her sister, Katherine (Kit) Byrd.

Jenni Prosser (granddaughter) mother of Chase, AJ, and Alex Sparkman.

Shannon Stanley (granddaughter) and her husband Jake, parents of Wednesday and Odinn Anderson, and Cassian Stanley.

Jo was preceded in death by parents Ralph and Ruth (Schmidt) Bentz, brothers John and Ralph, her former husband, Gene Parkison, and their son John. She went on to be happily married to James (Jim) Wrixon for 32 years who preceded her in death in 2020.
Jo was a loving and caring person who enjoyed volunteering at the food bank at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Fort Wayne.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior. Burial and committal prayers immediately following at Greenlawn Cemetery Chapel.
