

Dwight Huff entered this life with his twin brother on March 28, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the loving son of Ida and Raymond Huff. He lived in Cincinnati until 2012. When he moved to Indiana, he was united in marriage to Carmyn (McCormick) Huff, his wife of 10 years. Dwight was the loving father of 6 beautiful children and 2 stepchildren, that he loved more than life itself. Dwight was devoted to his family and was a great provider.
Dwight was a man of many talents, and he was passionate about being an artist and his drawings. He was funny, kind hearted, outgoing, and adventurous. When Dwight entered a room, he changed the atmosphere; he brought joy, peace, and light with him. Dwight attended Woodard High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he was in the Naval Sea Cadets from the age of 15 until he graduated in 1990. From 1991-1992 he attended the University of Cincinnati. Dwight accepted Christ at an early age and recommitted his life during his illness.
Dwight was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, son, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Nothing meant more to him than family. Dwight lived his life with a positive attitude, dignity, and grace. He was a man of his word, and he lived every day being thankful for every blessing, no matter how big or small. Over the past 11 years, he lived in Indiana. He worked for HTI in Albion, Indiana, and TI Automotive in Ashley, Indiana as a forklift operator and material handler. He was a very dependable and hard worker.
Dwight never gave up even in the face of Glioblastoma (GBM). He was the “Man of Steal” he “Fought the Beast” and kept it at bay for five years. During this fight, Dwight became the face of Indiana Cancer Service where he and his wife shared their battle with the GBM community. In addition, he was the ambassador of Optune, part of a GBM site where he encouraged and motivated others to keep up the good fight, he was an avid gamer and met people there, encouraging them daily.
Dwight touched so many lives. He always tried to make people smile and left a positive impact on everyone he met. You could always count on him no matter what you needed-he was always there. Dwight was one of the kindest souls anyone could ever meet. Dwight Huff, Sr will truly be missed, but never forgotten and forever loved.
Dwight departed this life on October 16, 2022, at home in Auburn, Indiana surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Carmyn (McCormick) Huff; 8 Children: Dizale Honaker, Cassandra Harrison, Kayla Weaver, Elisceo Bryant, Dwight Huff Jr, Aly'ce Huff, Skyler McCormick, KaiLeena (McCormick) Ledford; his mother, Ida Huff; his sister, Donna Cobbins (Moses) and his twin brother, Dwain Huff Sr.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, “His Great Ones,” (great nieces and nephews). He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Huff, and grandson, Diazale Honaker, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 12:30 pm at Lakeside Park Pavilion #1, 1401 Lakeside Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AdvantageHighlandPark.com for the Huff family.
