

Reverend Dwight E. Kuntz, 72, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Abilene, KS, Dwight was a Minister in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ for 30 years and retired from the work force in 2007. He was a member of Living Grace Community Church formerly known as Union Chapel United Brethren Church. Dwight's greatest passion was serving the Lord with his wife Patti for 27 years on the island of Jamaica and spending time with his family. He also loved gardening and serving others in their time of need. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1967 to 1971. Surviving are his beloved wife, Patricia Kuntz of Fort Wayne; three sons, Chris (Lisa) Kuntz of Ossian, IN, Rich (Natalie) Kuntz of Greenwood, IN; and Caleb Kuntz of Belleair Bluffs, FL; sister, Twila Jackson of Abilene, KS; brothers, Warren (Patricia) Kuntz of Hoover, AL, Dorland (Eloise) Kuntz of Caro, MI, and Marvin (Sandy) Kuntz of Abilene, KS; sister-in-law, June Atkinson of Abilene, KS; five grandchildren, Tyler, Kirklin, Alex, Aiden, and Ethan; and many Peurifoy in-laws. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Sarah Kuntz; son, D. David Kuntz; brother, Edward Kuntz; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Jackson. Celebration of life is 10:00 am, Thursday August 2, 2018 at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 US Highway 24 W with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling at - D.O.
