Edna Nettie Buelow, 85, went to be with the Good Lord on August 9, 2016, and be reunited with her husband, Virgil, of 63 years who passed in March. Edna was very proud of many things in her life. She cherished the 15 years she worked at Wolf & Dessauer, only leaving when the store closed. She then began working at Busak & Shamban where she retired from 27 years later. She greeted at Meijer after retirement. She was honored in 2001 as Girl of the Year for her contributions to Sigma Beta Sorority, Delta Rho Chapter where she was a member since 1976. She was proud of the nearly 30 years and over 7500 hours she volunteered at Lutheran Hospital gift shop. She was a collector of many things especially angels, many given to her by others who saw her as an angel. She loved all animals. Tinkerbell and Kara will miss her.
Her only child, Cathy (Greg) Bosk survives. Other survivors include grandchildren, Jim (Sandy) Jardine, Andy (Sarah) Bosk, Adam Bosk, Jonathan Bosk, Katy Bosk, who cared for her in the final months of her life, and 5 great-grandchildren. As a late teen, Edna was a nanny for the Bosselmann boys, David and Steve. She stayed in contact with Steve throughout her life and considers him a “special” son. She is also survived by siblings, Eileen Tribby, Carol Eberly, Mike (Sharman) Bultemeier, and Ken (Carolyn) Bultemeier.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Bultemeier and step-daughter, Karen Adkins.
