Edward "Thunder Chicken" Horn, 78, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. Born in Auburn, Indiana, Ed was the son of the late George and Juanita Horn. Ed served our country as a US Marine veteran. He was a forklift mechanic for Food Marketing, Carnation and Nestle before retiring in 2002. Ed enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales, collecting coins and spending time with his family. Ed made friends with everyone he met and enjoyed making people around him laugh. His wonderful sense of humor will be missed. Surviving are his children, Evon (Scott) Mumma, Robin Trimm both of Fort Wayne, Raymond (Carolyn) Horn of New Haven, Charles Horn of Fort Wayne, Jennifer (Justin Modglin) Horn of Roanoke, James (Brittney) Horn of Fort Wayne; brother, Robert (Kathy) Horn of Leo; sister, Juanita Hill of SC; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his son Edward Horn II; siblings, Betty York, George Horn, Jr., Glenda Horn, Libby Morris; and brother-in-law, Jim Hill. A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 3 pm to 7 pm with a Marine Military presentation at 5 pm at the Arlington Clubhouse, 4630 W. Arlington Park Blvd. Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana.
