With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Emma Raquel Bauer, born on May 11, 2022 who was taken from us too soon on January 7, 2025 at the tender age of 31 months. She brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives and all who were privileged to know her. Her kind heart, infectious smile, and boundless curiosity will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
Her memory lives on through her biological mother, Erica Bauer; brother, Isaiah Bandy; sister, Sarah Bandy; pre-adoptive parents, John and Erin Godwin; and their children, Malaya, Gunnar, Liannah, Archar, Emmarie, and Jorgia Godwin.
A visitation for Emma will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne.
