For many years he worked as a Real Estate Broker and later enjoyed working at Lowe's.
Fred was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki O'Hara and brother, John Wittekind.
He will always be remembered for his love of family.
Fond memories will remain with his sons, Fred, Michael and Mark Wittekind; daughters, Kathryn Moore and Karen Dopkowski.
A service of love and remembrance will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls; 8325 Covington Road, (46804) with visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Memories may be shared at www.domccombandsons.com for the family.
