Frieda J Bryie

Frieda J. Bryie, 97, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Heritage Park Health Care Center. Born in Rockford, OH, Frieda enjoyed bowling, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Gary (JoAnn) Bryie of Fort Wayne, James (Carolyn) Bryie of Saint Petersburg, FL, and Cheryl (Dennis) Shuler of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Michelle (Donnie) Beard, Paul (Danielle) Bryie, Amy Shuler, Angela (Jason) Henn, Dena Bryie; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Lester Bransteter of Fishers, Betty Haviland, and Deloris Caffee both of Geneva. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nellie Bransteter; husband, Victor Bryie; grandson, Steven Bryie; siblings Charles "Bill" Bransteter, Dick Bransteter, Wilma Gaede, Garni Bollenbacher, and Creva Line Bollenbacher. Service is 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with calling one hour prior, Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Calling at the funeral home Monday, March 9, 2015, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkview Home, Health, and Hospice.
