Gary W. Armstrong, 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Parkview Hospital. Born on April 15, 1947, Gary was a native of Fort Wayne who spent the last 30 years of his life being a part of the Wells Street Community. Gary was an avid fisherman and would fish whenever he got the chance. He also loved playing his guitar. Gary was loved by his community and spent most of his days at The Big Eyed Fish and The Pantry. He is survived by a sister and daughter. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Manford and Patricia Armstrong, and sister, Maxine. A Celebration of Life will be held for Gary at The Pantry 1501 North Wells Street on Sunday, June 8th, 2025 from 5PM-8PM.
