Geneva Estelle Statler, 83, of Fort Wayne, fell asleep in death on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 15, 1933 in Egypt, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Caraway) Statler. Geneva was employed with Verizon in the Centralized Mail Payment Department for over 30 years, from which she retired. She was a member of the North Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and went from door to door each week to share the good news of God’s Kingdom as outlined in Matthew 24:14. She is survived by her sister, Virginia “Ginger” Glover; brother, John Statler; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings. Memorial Service will be 10:00am on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6427 Blackstone Dr., Fort Wayne.
