Gerald K. "Worm" McDonough, 65, of Yoder, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Born on November 22, 1956, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Katherine (Johnson) McDonough.
Gerald was a Taekwondo 5th Degree Black Belt. He retired from General Motors, (UAW Local #2209) in 2008, after more than 31 years of service. He is survived by his children, Bradley (Michelle) McDonough, and Melissa (Ronnie) Lovell; ex-wife, Sharon Leastman; grandchildren, Blaze, Olivia, and Ryder; brother, Garry McDonough; and his beloved dog, Sammie. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon McDonough.
A funeral service to honor his memory will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling beginning at 4:00pm, two hours prior to the service.
