She worked as a homemaker and was a former member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Her great sense of humor and quick wit, along with artistic talents will always be remembered by her loving family. She had many interests and enjoyed numerous activities. Golfing and Playing Euchre were a few of her favorites.
She is survived by her children, Judith (Steven) Graft Blumenherst Marbach of Angola, Ronald (Carole) Graft of Pine Key, FL, and Kenneth (Barbara) Graft of Angola; 10 grandchildren, Beth Ann Riecke, David (Amy) Blumenherst, Bill (Pam) Blumenherst, Chad Blumenherst, Wade (Lisa) Graft, Jill (Michael) Laughlin, Robyn (Jerry) Holcomb, Todd (Michelle) Graft, Nichole Graft, and Kenneth (Shelley) Graft; 25 great grandchildren, Megan, Evan, Allison, Christian, Amanda, Andrew, Erica, Brianna, Brandon, Sahara, Sydney, Scout, Stryder, Ava, Lila, Ryan, Michael, Emma, Chase, Cooper, Jillian, Cody, Kate, Michael, and Hope; 9 great great grandchildren, Jack, Dylan, Keegan, Vivienne, Warren, Claire, Gabrielle, William, and Charlie; and half-sister, Gloria Cowles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Emil Graft; brother, Eugene Smith; and her uncle, who helped raise her, and aunt, Virgil and Bertha Smith.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
