Geralyn "Lynn" Marie Wygant

Geralyn "Lynn" Marie Wygant, age 69, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 1. She was born August 18, 1954 in Fort Wayne to the late John and Patricia (née Minnich) Proegler. Lynn graduated from Heritage High School, Class of '72 and matriculated with Associate Degrees in Accounting and Computer Science from Ivy Tech Community College and was a licensed Real Estate Agent.

Her varied hobbies and interests ranged from crafting and macramé to cooking and baking, especially cheesecakes! Lynn was extremely proud of her home, and spent countless hours on home improvement projects and landscaping; utilizing her love of botany and flower gardens to craft beautiful floral arrangements. Whether attending concerts or festivals, including The Festival of Trees, or belly dancing she savored the arts. Above all, she adored being a Great-Grandma.

Lynn is survived by her son, Ronald (Arlene) Wedler II; grandchildren, R.C. (Mia Mann) Wedler III, Austin (Makala) Shroyer, Brooklyn (Logan) Becker, Morgan (Griff) Blocker, Austin (Beth) Bower-Huffman, Caylee Bower, and Jacob Huffman; great-grandchildren, Westyn Grey Wedler, Brayleigh Blocker, Brantley Blocker, Lincoln Shroyer and Madison Shroyer; siblings, Karen (Phil) Graf, Chet (Sherri) Proegler, Jackie (Rick) Hull, John (Brenda) Proegler, Sheri (Mike) Mourey, Sue (Bob) Sommer, Pam (Randy) Doctor, Janel (Joe) Lengerich; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life is 1:00 PM, Friday, April 12 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Rd with calling two hours prior.
