

Glen Edward Rawlins departed this life July 7, 2016. He was born December 7, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio. Glen graduated from Wright State University in 1975. In 1979 he moved to Ft. Wayne to work as a Computer Service Technician for Reynolds & Reynolds. Glen was an Eagle Scout and served as a Boy Scout Leader, volleyball and basketball coach, and usher at St. John the Baptist. He loved the outdoors, especially golf, skiing, camping, canoeing, fishing and taking his dog Buddy for walks through Foster Park. He was a proud dad and grandpa and will be sorely missed.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Mary (Sullivan), children Patrick, Bridget (Jason) Jacoby, Brendan, Deirdre (Brian) Goshert, and Neil, grandson William Goshert, sisters Colleen Albertson, Becky (Derek) Keegan, Kathy (Greg) Stebbins, and seven nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (Carbaugh) and Edwin Rawlins and niece Alana Bourbonnais. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 16 at 11 am at St. John the Baptist Church 4500 Fairfield Avenue with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation also Friday, July 15 from 4 to 7 pm with a vigil service at 6:45 pm at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton 6424 Winchester Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 19 or St. John the Baptist Ft. Wayne. Burial at Catholic Cemetery to follow.
