Glenn M. Hitner, age 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away at 3:17 am on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at home. He was born on September 25, 1946 in New Albany, Ind. to the late Herman and Frances Hitner. Glenn lived his early years traveling with his dad and brother, Jerry. He settled in Decatur, Indiana and raised his family and later to Las Vegas, Nevada where he retired from University of Nevada - Las Vegas. Glenn had many hobbies and spent many years repairing antique slot machines, travel and visiting his grandchildren; he will be sadly missed by his loved ones. Glenn is survived by his life partner of nearly 40 years, Marietta Fish; daughter, Teresa (Ken) Lewis; son's, Michael (Jenny) Hitner, Jeremy (Christina) Fish, and Chris (Amanda) Fish; grandchildren, Danny, Jasmine, Kristin, Nick, Morgan, Mady and Shay; great-grandchildren, Audrina, Meiah, Lilly, Jovie, Jaqob, Gabe, Kinnley, Theo, Ronin and baby Armstrong; two brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jim Hitner. A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4940 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne, Ind.
