GREGORY "GREG" K. BICKEL, 49, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully into the hands of Jesus on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, with his family by his side. He was born Sept. 13, 1964, in Indiana. Greg loved the outdoors, nature, fishing and children, especially his nieces and nephews. He was also a good carpenter, artist and painter. He leaves behind his father, Kyle (Midge) Bickel; mother, Norma (Randy) Shaw; brothers, Doug and Dean (Michele); sisters, Cindy Bickel and Tanya (Steve) Hall; many nieces and nephews; and lifetime friend, Lorrie and her children, Josh, Jeremy, Kenneth, and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris K. Bickel; grandparents, Pauline and Richard Best and Fanny and Arneth Bickel. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at C.M. Sloan & Sons, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling from 10 to 11 a.m. "We the family would like to thank the staff of Visiting Nurse Hospice Home." Memorials to the family.
BURIAL OF ASHES will be Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10 am in Lindenwood Cemetery.
