Gregory Alan Shepherd

Gregory Alan Shepherd, age 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana was called to his eternal home on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Greg was known as a man of faith with many hobbies and interests through the years including all things Harley-Davidson, hunting, fishing, playing euchre with friends, various genres of music and spending time with family. He was an adventurous soul that began with his time on the farm as a boy and led to a lifelong career with Norfolk-Southern railroad; Greg enjoyed travel and riding his Harley-Davidson. He is survived by his beautiful daughters, Candace (Jesus) Ruiz of Richmond, Ind. And Crystal (Robert) Durga of New Haven, Ind.; mother, Nilah Mae (Ron) Wellman of Fort Wayne, Ind.; grandchildren, Veronica Jackson, Savannah Ruiz, and Robert Durga III; great-grandchildren, Jekyree Green Jr., Isacc Green, and Jae’vy Green; brothers, Donald Shepherd Jr. of Clearwater, Fla., Roy (Sharon) Davis of Garrett, Ind., and Jeffrey (Mary) Davis of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters, Vickie (Rocky) Stanski of Prairie Lake, Ind., and Deborah (Rossie) Ward of Chadbourn, N.C. and loving companion, Marty Slain of Fort Wayne, Ind. Gregory was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Shepherd; father, Donald Shepherd; grandparents, Kenneth (Dorothy) Shepherd, and Roy (Icy) Geesaman.
