Hal Smith, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He worked for Fox Contractors Corporation as a heavy equipment operator. Surviving are his wife, Anna Catherine "Kate" Smith; children, Jennifer Lynne (Clayton) Kramer, Jay Alan Smith, and Jessalynn Ann (Benjamin) Kuras; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister, Andrea Croft. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, Indiana 46798. Visitation for Hal will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with a rosary service beginning at 6:45 PM.
