Hanna Noelle Albertson

It is with grief stricken and heavy hearts that we announce our daughter, Hanna Noelle Alberson, 20, of New Haven, Indiana suddenly passed away on June 25th, 2022. She was born on November 16th, 2001 to Chad & Tina Albertson.

Hanna attended Woodlan Jr/Sr High school and was very active in sports. She played Woodlan Softball for 4 years (#5) and Woodlan Basketball for 4 years (#31) their Senior motto was "One Team...One Heart." Her teams were not just friends and coaches, but family. She also played travel softball for the Fort Wayne Thunderboltz (#7). Anyone who knows Hanna will tell you she played with heart and grit in anything she did, and never did anything halfway. She earned the nickname "Hanna Banana", always having bruised up shins showing how hard she played. She loved driving down back country roads with the windows open and the music blaring, belting out notes in perfect harmony. She had the most graceful and exquisite voice.

She will be remembered for her compassion for animals, her vivacious nature, humor, a smile that would light up the room and everyone in it, and for how deeply and fiercely she loved her family and friends. She would be the first to drop what she was doing to help someone in need, and to make sure they never felt alone. She had an abundant amount of energy, and loved talking her friends and mom into making hours of Tik Tok videos.

We will think of you every time a gentle breeze blows through the trees dancing across our faces. We will think of you whenever the brilliant sun shines upon us. We will think of you and your soft voice every time we hear one of your favorite songs.

Her heart still beats, in another, the gift of life she gave to complete strangers offering them a second chance of life... a perfect example of how generous Hanna was. She is a hero above else, and her family is so proud of her.

She has taught us to be present in every moment of everyday, and to not take life for granted.

"And one day God would use the very worst of what happened to her, to light the way for all those to come."

Hanna was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles & Janice Albertson, Maternal Grand Father Lynn Scott & Maternal Great Grandfather Kenneth Clemens. She leaves behind her parents, Sister Taylor Albertson (Michael); Sister Chloe Albertson; Grandmother Cindy Hatcher (Troy); Great Grandmother Phyllis Clemens; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-7 PM, Thursday, July 7 at The Garden, located at 3308 N. Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Fort Wayne Humane Shelter.
