He was a truck driver, traveling “all over the United States” on his delivery routes. Harold was a devoted and loving father and papaw.
Harold was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Fort Wayne, IN, and a veteran of the United States National Guard.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly L. (Dan) Hettinger of Harlan, IN; grandsons, Josh (Riley) Hettinger of Fort Wayne, IN and Nick (Emma) Hettinger of Portersville, PA; great-grandchildren, James, Noelle, and another expected in May; sisters, Wilma Lockaby, and Wanda (Steve) Shreiner; and a brother, Medius (June) Woodyard.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Woodyard, December 15, 2005; brothers, Henry, Johnny, Delford and Steve Woodyard; and sisters, Thelma Johnson and Gladys Shelton.
Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm, Tuesday April 22, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior. Committal and burial will be held at Concordia Gardens Cemetery, 5300 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN.
