

Harry M. Coil, 87 passed away Sunday July 12, 2020 at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Swan Township, near LaOtto, Indiana, on Oct. 16, 1932, to the late Albert Alfonza Coil and Fern Winifred (Warner) Coil.
Harry graduated from Kendallville High School in 1950 where he played basketball. He worked as a machine operator for Dana Corporation for 30 years and retired in 1992. He was a member of the United Steel Workers local #903, Eagles Lodge member and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. He was recognized as an expert in antique clock restoration and repair. Harry is survived by his children, Stephen M. Coil (61) of Huntington, IN; Malcolm Coil (56) of Wabash, IN; Mark A. Coil (59) of Fort Wayne, IN, all from Harry's first wife, Miriam Louise Becker-Coil (2008), and 3 step-daughters Cheryl (Kim) Beamer; Kim (Paul) Keller; and Erika (Martin) Keller from his last wife, Yvonne Coil in 2013; grandchildren, Caleb Coil, Levi Stires, Misty Arellano (Updike), and Jessica (Updike); 8 great-grandchildren. Harry was also preceded in death by his twin brother Keith, brothers John, Jessie, and Warner Albert, a sister, Wanda L. Hampton, as well as a granddaughter, Rebecca Coil.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN. with calling one hour prior. Calling also Friday, July 24, 2020, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Swan Cemetery, LaOtto, IN.
