Helen J Jinks, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Born on December 12, 1943, in McCutchenville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late George M and B. Oleta (Dible) Burks. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Michael C Jinks; children, Michael (Gina) Jinks Jr, Tony (Chris) Jinks, Eva (Jim) Trout, and Sally (John) Godfrey; brothers, Carl Burks, Paul (Lynn) Burks, and Fred Burks; sisters, Floy Swerlein, Lois (Jerry) Wolber, and Virginia Berberick; as well as 13 grandchildren, and 5 ¾ great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Paul Jinks; brothers, Donald Burks, Owen Burks, and Clyde Burks; and sisters, Eva Pahl, and Mary Latham.
Funeral service will be 5:00pm, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 3:00pm, until time of service. Memorial donations may be given to Parkview Home Health and Hospice, Fort Wayne. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O.
