

Helen J. Lichtsinn, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at St. Anne’s Home. She was born on March 1, 1927 in Harpersville, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary (Regiec) Demski. She worked and retired from General Electric. She was a member of the GE Elex Club, Quarter Century Club, El-Par; Stitch for Charity; and a 46 year member of St. Therese Catholic Church. The family would like to thank St. Anne’s Home for their kind, loving, and compassionate care given to their mother. Surviving family include her daughters, Vicki (Kerry) Blauvelt, Renee (James) Prochniak, Debbie (Bruce) Hall; grandchildren, Wendy (Scott Woods) Blauvelt, Christopher (Julie) Blauvelt, Kelly (Scott) Parrot, James Prochniak, Patrick (Amanda) Prochniak, Madison Hall; great grandchildren, Aiden, Jillian, Camden, Lucas, Alaina, Carter; and sister-in-law, Ann Demski and Edie Vatalaro. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Paul Lichtsinn. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation ½ hour prior. Visitation will also be from 3-8 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with an El-Par service at 3:00 pm and a rosary service at 7:00 pm, both at the funeral home. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Stitch for Charity c/o Jan Ragan, St. Anne’s Home, or St. Therese Catholic Church Funeral Dinner Fund.
