Helen Wilson, 80, of Churubusco, died on Sunday November 3, 2013. Born on July 27, 1933, in Roanoke, she was a daughter of the late, John and Bessie Tigner. She was a member of the Old Fort Motorcycle Club, and enjoyed puzzles and playing euchre. “If you’re worrying, you’re not praying, and if you’re praying, you’re not worrying”.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Bowman; sisters, Roberta Jackson and Marilyn Houser; special Nephew and his wife, John & Debi Tigner; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews; and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by three children, and her husband, Richard.
Funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday November 6, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11 to 1, prior to the service. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be given to the Allen County Humane Society.
