Henry Thawphohn Ko, 21, took his last breath on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 6:25 AM at Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center in Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on July 9, 2004 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Henry graduated from Snider High School and was just starting to find his path in life. His passion and kindness were like no other. He was always willing to share, even if it was his last bite. In his spare time, he was passionate about creating songs and loved playing games, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with the people he cherished. Henry gave so much love to the world and touched the hearts of everyone who got the chance to meet him. He loved nature, sports, and basically everything and anything to keep him active. Those who knew him knew he could never sit still. Not many knew, but Henry was a rainbow baby – the miracle his family had been waiting for. He was always the baby in any family function or gathering. His laughs and jokes always lit up a room and there wasn’t a single soul who met him and didn’t love him. Let’s not forget his silly hair phases from his Taeyang Mohawk, mullet ponytail, to finally finding his curly hair to match his style and swag. He was a genuine soul who always knew how to cheer up those around him and was so incredibly loyal and compassionate to both his friends and family. Henry is survived by his mother, Daw Lwin Lwin Oo; father, U Tin Ko Ko; two older sisters, Ma Nway Zune Ko and Ma May Mon Ko; his niece, Ava; and numerous cousins and relatives who all love him dearly. He will forever be missed and the memories made with him will always be cherished. To continue honoring Henry, we kindly ask that you live life adventurously, confidently, and kindly. Hold the people you love close to your heart, never forget where you came from, and as always, to believe in yourself. Prayers will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46819, family and friends are encouraged to visit beginning at 11:00 am. Fairbanks Burn Center. Donations can be made at https://gofund.me/1ee3bbb45.
