J. Yvonne Foley Klaehn

J. Yvonne (Foley) Klaehn died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital at 90 years of age. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN and during World War II she worked at General Electric. She later worked as the Treasurer for Chalfant-Perry-Klaehn Funeral Home retiring in 1973. She was very active in the Elizabeth South Circle at Trinity English Lutheran Church, the PEO Chapter CP, the Girl Scouts, Brownies, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts serving in various leadership capacities while raising her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Imo (Feagler) Foley, sister Carolynn Walker, and Granddaughter Jane McNulty. Surviving are her husband of 68 years of marriage William R., daughter Karen Anastos of Hingham, MA, daughter Kay (Jerry) Misik of Tega Cay, SC, son Gary (Rosanne) Klaehn of Leo, IN, daughter Gail MacMaster of Hingham, MA, daughter Janet (Terry) McNulty of Hingham, MA, son Jeff (Christy) Klaehn of Fort Wayne, IN, daughter Jill Streich of Fort Wayne, 21 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Services will be held at the Trinity English Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 2:00pm with interment at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 at the Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home's Wayne Street Chapel.
