James Clancy Shank, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home. He was born November 11, 1949 in Fort Wayne, son to the late Thomas C. and Helen M. (Callahan) Shank. James was a Bishop Luers High School graduate and received his Bachelors Degree from St. Joe College, Rensselaer, IN. He worked as a mechanical contractor for Shank Brothers Heating and Plumbing. Surviving him are his wife, Sandra (Shindler) Shank of Fort Wayne; children, Clancy ( Kristyn ) Shank, Kathrine (Adam) Reichert, and Steven (Jennifer) Shank, all of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren, Addison, Jacob, Luke, Thomas, Olivia, Cooper, Braden, and Summer; siblings, Thomas (Cindy) Shank, Patricia Shank, Barbara (James - deceased) Richards, Laura (Rick) Storie, Louise (Chris) Rowan, Katie (Thomas) Eckrich, John (Sarah) Shank, and Michael (Kelly) Shank. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Parkview Field, 1301 Ewing Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 in the Suite Level Lounge.
