Jamil Jalal Saleh 49, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away November 16, 2021. Born May 20, 1972 the youngest son of Jalal and Rosemary Saleh, Jamil graduated from Tri-State University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, he was also awarded a golf scholarship there. Jamil embarked on a professional golf career and could be seen at local golf courses, including the Elk’s Golf Course in Kendallville where he was the head pro for many years. He got his first hole-in-one a few weeks ago on the 8th hole at Cobblestone while golfing with friends. Most recently he was employed as a manager at Pizza Hut in Fort Wayne. Preceding him in death are his parents Jalal and Rosemary (O’Neill) Saleh. To cherish his memory are his two Daughters: Alia Jada Saleh and Hannah Jo Saleh; Sister: Amy Saleh Irven; Brother: Phil Merrill.
Jamil loved his family and friends, playing golf, cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers Men’s Basketball team, and watching movies with his daughters, especially comedies. His two dogs Hogan and Bunker were sources of many smiles for his family, he trained them both and was very fond of them. He taught his girls how to play golf, and enjoyed playing with them on the course. Jamil supported them at their sporting events and school activities, often taking them to Dairy Queen for an ice cream sundae.
In lieu of flowers send donations to the education fund of Jamil’s two daughters, payable to:
