Janet Lee Wise passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2026, at the age of 87 at Story Point North.
Janet was a daughter of the late Forrest F. and Lena (née. Coverstone) Kiester and wife of the late Ronald A. Wise.
She worked 29 years at FWCS (Fort Wayne Community Schools) retiring in 2007.
She leaves to continue her legacy and many precious memories to her sons, Ronald A. Wise Jr., Brian (Cathy) Wise and Patrick (Janet) Wise; daughters, Vicky (Jeff) Bowser and Valerie (Mike) Novitski; a brother, F. Hal (Marsha) Kiester; eight grandsons; four granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Janet was also preceded in death by a daughter, Julia A. Craft.
A Celebration of her life will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Rd. (46804) with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
