He graduated from Northrop High School in 1997 and was employed at BAE Systems at the time of his passing. Jason loved music, including but not limited to Hip-Hop, R&B and Southern Soul. He also loved cooking (regardless of how much he’d complain about it and leading up to it). He especially enjoyed time with his family and close friends, laughing, and making others laugh with witty cracks and comebacks. His energy, smile and fierce loyalty to his loved ones will be greatly missed by all who’ve been fortunate enough to experience it.
Jason leaves to cherish his memory his common-law, Tamesha Virges. four children: Jayairah
Hannah, Teri’Yiana Virges, Jai’Nya Hannah and Jason Hannah, Jr. granddaughters: Ava’Lynn Hannah, Azariea Buse, and Syuli Perez. In addition to Tamesha and children, he’ll be remembered by his brothers: Dr. Howard Blount, Edward Page, Rev. Vinson Parnell, Howard Page, Jr., Rev. Dr. Mack E. (Denise) Page, Jr., Darrell (Tonyia) Page, Willie Burnett, and Corey Hannah, Sr.; sisters: Alfreda (Abraham) Washington, Shirley (William) Rox, Elouise Davis, and Danyeal Dunbar; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jason was also preceded in death by his sister, Shawn Hannah, and a nephew, Demetrius Washington.
A visitation for Jason will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2200 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM.
