Jean "Paul" Trenary

Jean “Paul” Trenary, 90, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on January 13, 2024. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN. Paul was the son of the late Harry and Rose Trenary. Paul was a graduate of South Side High School, where he participated in choir, football, and track and field. Following high school, Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in 1955 from Wabash College, and was a member of the glee club and Kappa Sigma fraternity. Shortly after college, Paul enlisted into the United States Navy, serving his country until 1957. Paul was a dedicated worker, and was employed at the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company for almost 30 years. Paul enjoyed reading, singing in his church and men’s choir groups, traveling, and spending time with his family and beloved wife Charlotte, who he had been married to for over 56 years. Paul is survived by his children, Susan Jauregui and Dan Trenary; grandchildren, Gabrielle and Jennifer Jauregui; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Trenary Miller; and wife, Charlotte Trenary. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation prior to the service, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
