Jerry A. Hoblet age 69, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan Hoblet; sons, Timothy Hoblet and Thomas (Heather) Hoblet; grandsons, Boston and Keith Hoblet and sisters, Tamara Menkes and Cheryl (Terry) Furge. Preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Hoblet. Jerry was born on August 8, 1948 in Van Wert, OH to the late Lowell and Betty Hoblet. He was a graduate of North Side High School and attended IPFW. On August 1, 1969 he married the love of his life, Susan Usher and together they raised three children. Jerry retired from Tokheim Corporation with over 35 years of service. Jerry was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY at St Jude Catholic Church 2130 Pemberton Drive Fort Wayne, IN with Fr. Bob D'Souza officiating. Burial to follow at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
