JERRY L. ZOLLINGER, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne. He was born May 27, 1930 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Lester and Gertrude (Volmer-ding) Zollinger. He was a Type Setter for Fort Wayne Type, and was a member of the American Legion and Peace Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Shearer) Zollinger of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lisa K. (Kenneth) Meyers of Fort Wayne; son, Thomas J. (Theresa) Zollinger of Ossian; daughter, Elen B. (Michael) Sorg of Hoagland; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Terry) Zollinger of Fort Wayne; and sister, Barbara Krauter of New Haven. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Zollinger; daughter, Debra; and sons, Douglas and Randall Zollinger. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Paul Spira officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd. Chapel. Burial at Concordia Gardens Lutheran Cemetery.
