Joan Marie Dugan

Joan M. Dugan, 92, passed away at home April 26, 2024. Joan was born September 9, 1931 in Moosic, PA to Thomas Stapleton and Anna (nee. Craig) Stapleton. Joan earned her Liberal Arts Degree at Temple University and her Master of Arts Degree at Ball State University. She worked as a Speech Pathologist for Fort Wayne State Development Center for almost 30 years until her retirement. She attended church at Unity of Fort Wayne Spiritual Center. Joan is preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig Dugan; and twin sister, Ellyn Coyne of Philadelphia, PA. She is survived by her son, Mark Dugan of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Patricia Kowalczyk of Fort Wayne, IN and Pamela Dugan of Spring Hill, FL; six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ann Wickson of Decatur, GA.
