Joan was a 1961 graduate of South Side High School and was previously employed by Pathologist Associates, Lab Corp and Aetna Insurance before retiring in 2010.
Joan's favorite things were spending time with family and friends. From always being on the sidelines for any sporting events her children or grandchildren were playing to happy hour by the pool with friends. She loved to travel and passed that love of traveling onto her children.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband, William Roth; son, Brian (Janelle) Roth; daughter, Shannon (Thomas) Rodman; a sister, Marty Flanigan and seven grandchildren, Zachary, Madison, and Anthony Schwalm, and Landon, Weston, Hudson, and Dayne Roth.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ann Marie Mueller, and a sister, Marge Herbst.
A visitation for Joan will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
