Joan Young, 91, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Parkview Randallia, surrounded by her family. Born on May 14, 1929, in Anderson, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Burmon and Hazel Shannon. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James R. Young; son, James M. (Lisa) Young; grandchildren, Robert Young and Allison (Joe) Morua; and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Nora. She was a member of the Methodist church. She retired from Hallmark House after 25 years. Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and loved to cook and sew. She was a small, little gal with a big heart.
