John married Alice Villwock in 1963, and she survives. He belonged to the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 166. John was an avid antique collector, and traveled the United States in search of antiques. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his children, Sean (Gail) Conrad, and Paula (Jamie) Till; one grandchild, Keegan Till; and siblings, Lois Ehinger, and David (Geraldine) Conrad. John was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ott; and grandson, Nolan Till.
Private family services are being held. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's honor may be made to the Diabetes Association, or the Whitley County Humane Society.
