John Groganz, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Jagodnjak, Yugoslavia to the late Josef and Anna (Potnek) Groganz. John co-owned B & G Electric for 23 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Fort Wayne Sport Club for 66 years. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty (Baatz) Groganz; son, John M. (Caren) Groganz of Carmel; daughters, Linda C. (Scott) Fulford, Naples, Florida; Joyce A. (Mike) Yates of Dayton, Ohio; Marti J. (Bryce) Tallant of Norton Shores, Michigan; 11 Grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Theresa Pohl. Funeral service is 11:00 am, Monday, July 9, 2018, with calling one hour prior, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Calling also Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Fort Wayne Sport Club.
