John H. Manske

John H. Manske, 60, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. John was born February 4, 1961 in Fort Wayne to the late Ed and Nancy Manske. He graduated from South Side High School, class of 1979. John worked as a groundskeeper at Foster Park Golf Course for several years. Later he was employed at Sears Telecatalog and then a billing clerk at Lutheran Hospital (Shared Services Center) for more than 30 years. Despite having to deal with physical adversity he was able to life life to the fullest. He lived for his annual fishing trip to" Camp Keena" in Wisconsin, weekly card games, and spending time with his many friends in Fort Wayne. John is survived by his sisters, Jen Manske and Linda (Dennis) Psota; nephew, Jon; uncle, Irv Deister; cousins, Dave, Tom, Nancy, Ellie, Mindy, and their spouses; our many Manske cousins; and his 2nd family of all his friends. A memorial service for John will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation beginning at 9:30am. The family would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors at Lutheran Hospital ICU (CVIC East) and Dr. Herbert Acker and staff for their long time care.
