John R. Stockert Sr., 77, of Fort Wayne passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. Born February 24, 1939 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Russell and Catherine (Osborne) Stockert. John was employed with Dana for over 37 years from which he retired in 1996. He is survived by his children, Julia (Kent) Jackson, Angela McDaniels, and John Stockert Jr., all of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 22 2016 at 1:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 2403 E. Wallen Road., Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
