Joseph Kenneth Barnett

Joseph Kenneth Barnett, 78, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at his residence. Joe was born on December 2, 1940 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to the late Jake and Geneva (Bonds) Barnett. He graduated from High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. On September 21, 1963, he married Carol Ferko at Holy Communion Church in Racine, Wisconsin. Joe worked for Edy’s in Fort Wayne as a Production Coordinator for 12 years. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes. Joe also enjoyed watching the Colts, Broncos, and nature documentaries. Survivors include his wife Carol Barnett, children; Kevin (Elsa) Barnett, Bradley (Jessica) Barnett, and Christina Barnett, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and brothers; Truman Barnett and Bobby Joe Barnett.
