Joseph John DiGregory

JOSEPH JOHN DiGREGORY, SR., 61, went to his heavenly home on Friday, June 19, 2015. "He loved the Lord and is resting in his loving arms." Joe had such a sparkling personality that touched so many lives. He worked at a place he loved, Granite Ridge Builders. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Never a dull moment with Joe D! He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church, Roanoke. He loved woodworking, golf, working in his yard and most importantly, he loved spending time with his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jacqueline (Beghtel) DiGregory; sons, Joseph DiGregory II and Anthony (Jennifer) DiGregory; and daughter, Brooke DiGregory; his precious grandchildren, Katelyn, Kaleb, Vincenzo, Gianna DiGregory and Asher Hoffmeier; his father, August DiGregory, Sr.; sisters, Virginia (Bob) Clauser, Cindy (Kevin) Roberts and MaryAnn (Tom) Cicero; and brother, August Jr. (Anita) DiGregory; his in-laws that loved him like their own, Gene and June Beghtel, Carol and Floyd Sims, Keith Beghtel and Janet and George Bresler; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; and his many, many friends.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, (IN 46819), with calling one hour prior. Father Mark is officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial at the Catholic Cemetery in Roanoke.
