Joseph Kolczynski of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday August 13, 2023, at this home. Born September 19, 1956, in South Bend to Joseph and Lois Kolczynski. He retired from Omni Source, where he worked for 28 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He married the love of his life Debra Kolczynski on November 19, 1988. Together they raised four children and were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He leaves behind one daughter, Robin (Matthew) Hartenstein of Fort Wayne; and three sons, Randy Kolczynski, Mitchell (Samantha) Carter, and Michael Carter, all of Fort Wayne.
Joseph is proceeded in death by his wife Debra Kolczynski, his parents Joseph Kolczynski and Lois (Mulderink) Kolczynski, and this sister Nancy Riggs.
A memorial gathering for Joseph will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
