JOYCE E. BIVENS, 78, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Coventry Meadows LLC in Fort Wayne. Born in Oakwood, Ohio, Joyce worked as a Real Estate Broker with various real estate firms in the Fort Wayne area for over 37 years, most recently as a broker and manager at Star Realty. She was a member of the National, State, and Local Realtor's Association. Surviving are her grandsons, Michael Wittekind and Justin Bivens; brothers, Bob (Carolyn) Coder of Snow Lake and Bruce (Martha) Coder of Fort Wayne; sister, Shirley (Paul) Casterline of New Haven; and good friend, Sandy Williams of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Coder; mother, Dorothy E. Kuck; step-father, Arnold Kuck; son, Larry W. Bivens; and daughter, Tonya K. Wittekind. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
