Judith Lynne Heck

She worked for Allen County Government for 33 years, retiring from the County Commissioners’ office in 2010.

Judith is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Frederick) Yagodinski, Kristina (Bradford) Gemme; stepdaughters, Chris (Dan) Camp, Sherri (Darren) Will, Melissa Heine and Vikki Bobay.

Judith was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren including, Kathryn, Nicholas (Alexis) and Emily Yagodinski, Madilyn and Chelsea Gemme, Jennifer (Tom) Temple, Joni Darrah, Kyle and Courtney Will, Bryan (Tiffany) Heine, Andrea (Zach) Donahue, Eryka and Claire Bobay and Taylor (Chase) Jacobs; as well as 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Pat) Peters, Clifford (Pam) Peters; sister, Rhonda Case.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald of 25 years, stepson, Eryk Heck and her parents, Kenneth and Alma Peters.

A visitation will be on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes- Pine Valley, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Highland Park Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made out to Mizpah Shrine Transportation Fund.
