Judith H. “Judy” Markley, 80, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born on July 12, 1940 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Carl and Josephine (Ulshafer) Gruesbeck. She worked in health and beauty care in a number of different retail stores, most recently at Kroger’s from where she retired. She will be remembered as a very hard worker and someone who greatly loved her family. Surviving family include her children, Barbara (Yqnaciso) Ybarra, Rick (Missy) Markley, Lorrie Markley, and Randy Markley; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Peggy Treesh, and Richard, Donald, and Thomas Gruesbeck. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Daryle Markley. A gathering of family, friends, and birthday celebration will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
